It's good news but they aren't doing anything meaningful from their reports. No serious char transfers, no new joint EU/US cluster, no eradication of language issues.

There wont be any different language servers afaik, it will be like US servers, all play English server. From the info i got back from mythic EU servers will remain EU, they will just be run by Mythic. I was also told that at this present time they have no means or how to transfer from EU - US or US - EU, but that maybe something for the future. But why would they give all their eggs in one basket to everyone so far... The main thing is that the french nolonger can fuck things up like they did.

The 15th this month they start transfering EU accounts to mytic and u can start playing 17th according to Europe Daoc.

What they saying is transfer of the servers, not chars. Other than that nothing is said, by either GOA or Mythic.

Hmm if you have an open account do you get to choose to play on either EU and US?
Merge the billing, so to speak? That'll be alright.

if i read all the posts about this i says they copying the servers info with accounts and everything so from what i can work out u can play again the 17th but u still be on excalibur but runned by mythic from US.
It also says if ur account is active u get a refund on the time u have left on prepaid sub and their is gonna be a new way of paying to mythic announced soon.

Yup mythic are running the eu servers, there wont be any merging to us servers, although they haven't said they wont let ppl move servers..

Yes i will start playing Daoc again if there will be possiblity to transfer to an US server since their was when me and Marly played the free week 1 month ago about 50 palyers total on the excal/prydw cluster.
Marly will prolly start aswell if we can move to a server with more palyer.
