Abyss Fortress Instances [30-40]
Did all the Fortress Instance runs the other night, so i know what needs to be done.

Its basically a way of making quick cash and items that you can trade in for Abyss Points. So if we farm these instances enough we can use the Abyss Points to buy items.

=======================================================
Instance 1: Sulfur Fortress.

Big Oval area, you kill the mobs towards the middle and there is a big treasure box, kill it and recieve loot.

There is also little treasure boxes around that drops 2000-4000 kinah per box [sometimes nothing] [sometimes you get green items]

These green items are in the form of:

Icon
Crown
Goblet
... [i forget the 4th]

MAP:

NOTE: Inner Circles are where the Treasure Chests Spawn, Outer Circle they do not.
Map 1, the small circle in the center is an impassable area, like a column.

=======================================================
Instance 2: Western Siel Fortress.

This one is basically exactly the same as the Sulfur one only this one has only small treasure boxes but there are simply more of them.

Same items as above.

MAP:

=======================================================
Instance 3: Eastern Siel Fortress.

This one is alittle different to the others, in this you work yourway along a set path and then come to a large area with 6 Ramps leading to 6 different rooms.

All the way to the Ramps are filled with Elite Mobs, from the Ramps to the Rooms they are normal soloable mobs roughly 6-8 per Ramp with 2 infront of the room.

Once inside the room each chest you open inside 1 per room so 1 per party member you keep whats inside. Party Loot rules dont apply once inside the room.

You get 0-50000 kinah, and green items to sell for abyss points.

=======================================================
INFO:

When i did this some people didnt manage to get to their Rooms and open the chest in time, the timer when opening the chest takes like x2/x3 times longer than when you open something for a quest item.

Best Method is probably this:

Once we reach the Ramps we split into 2 groups of 3, one goes to the Left, one goes to the Right, we make our way down each of the ramps as a group of 3, once we reach the last of the 3 each member of that group then heads to a ramp by themselves and runs up it opens the door to the treasure room and opens their box.

If we each take 1 ramp each there is a chance of people dying or healers not killing the mobs fast enough, so team work is need for the Mobs on the Ramps.

Another thing i'll add is that when you reach the ramps there are a few Elite mobs infront of the ramps that need to be killed first, so no running off to the ramps until all pathways to the ramps are cleared of elites.

=======================================================
DROPS:

Lesser Goblet Something [800 Abyss Points]

That was the only item i got so its the only value i know of, but there are 4 types of these items and 4 grades of each type.

Lesser is the lowest, and you get 800 abyss points for them.

So it will be good to gain quick abyss points, they are un-tradable to players, cannot be stored anywhere. So when you pick them up they are yours.

I think the best idea for these runs would be to use the items and give them to the weaker members and allow them to buy good PvP gear like for example our Clerics and Chanters then the Tanks. [Or base it on Equipment need of those in the groups]

I think this is where you get those medals you need, im not 100% this is just a guess but i think the higher grade of items trade in for silver and gold medals.

Ive seen a Medal drop out of the Big Treasure Box in the First Instance on a Korean video i saw on Youtube, but it only dropped 1.

=======================================================
COOLDOWN TIMERS:

I do not know the cooldown on these instances, i tried activating the door into the instance right after i left and it started to show the progress bar to enter.. but i cancelled it as we were all moving to the next Instance. So not entirely sure if the instances are repeatable as soon as you leave.

=======================================================
LAST THING MOST IMPORTANT:

There is a timer on these instances, so we have to be ready to go and get straight into it.

HOWEVER:

The Instance Timer doesnt start counting down till the first party member passes through a light blue barrier, from then on you get a 15:00 min timer.

On the big box you need at least 10mins to open it by attacking it, so we need to clear a path to it ASAP and start wacking on it. If we stop it will start regening HP. So all aggro mobs around must also be cleared.

"Seal" is the 4th.

Also, you can't get into the instances if the fortress is vulnerable.

A regular icon gave me 600 abyss points earlier today. Smile

Regular Seal gave me 1200 abyss points yesterday. I wonder if with the normal loot set up (ie, normal loot, green and higher rolls) that we could roll for them because at the time we didn't realise what they were and now I feel bad that we autolooted them lol.

So the timer is basically for the loot then?

Yes you can roll for the items, but i think this is a bad thing. Instead i think we should let 1 person loot all the items on the 1st 3 runs, then someone else on the 2nd 3 runs. I dont really NEED Abyss gear because i've got pretty decent gear already.

I think Clerics and Chanters should take priority on these items so they can take the points and buy some PVP Armor which reduces the DMG recieved in PvP. I have no problem doing these Instances to get our weaker members into some decent gear, and as they can be repeated and only take 15-20mins each i think we can farm them pretty often. I also think the Abyss Armor is a must for Clerics/Chanters as they offer good stats as well as a % reduction in PvP DMG.

As for the Timers, they basically apply to the Chests/Big Chest. Once the timer runs out, they all disappear, but we can still kill the remaining Balaur thats left.

I have no problem clerics/chanter taking preference. As claira said, i also have decent gear which also works well in PvP.
