Advice Required
Just wondered if anyone had any advice on the best way of farming gold on my witch hunter? Im not very good at standing filling in things at the auction house and Need to find a regular way of making some gold ingame. Thanks to several members of our guild and our alliance (Linsul & Saffron come immediately to mind), I have been trying to get my talismans and scaveging leveled up so that whilst my main priority will be making decent talismans for guildies and alliance, I can also use this for Income from the auction house. Im finding it a bit easier to retain what little gold you make through RvR by not healing (didnt notice that 4 deaths = 1 gold and being a witch hunter, you die a LOT ! ! !)

I'm seriously thinking about shelving the witch hunter in RvR until I can find a more reliable way of making gold.

Has anyone found any decent mobs ect that are worth farming for gold/drops? Or is it worth going into lower tiers and farming the crap outta lower mobs?
Are there any classes worth starting for thier ability to farm constant mobs for money ie a bright wizzy AoEing the crap outta a load of mobs?
Would it be worth setting up some kind of farming group for exactly this purpose?

Opinions/suggestions all welcome

Thanks goes to Beeg, Knotweed and another (possibly Goorg) who kindly threw some gold my way during some of the mad nights of keep and fortress takes to keep me active, but its definately time to find a good way of amounting some gold as RvR on its own just doesnt cut it.

First, when you were rezzing you were getting the various "kill 25 invaders" style quests from the warcamps? Similoar to any prolonged fights over keeps from the keep lords - they pay about 1g50s each and 25 kills isn't much if you're in a warband and there is a siege going on - you don't need to get killing blows.

Selling stuff as you mentioned is also fairly good. You are unlikely to get megarich but pricing even greens at sensible prices will keep some money coming in. Trashing the lower level t4 PQs is also probably a good idea - get cash, sellable drops and salvagable gear.

Yep, every time your group/warband kills 25 destruction you can hand it in and pick it up again. Smile

The warcamp ones are zone specific but also include the scenarios - so the Reikland warcamp one wants 25 destruction slotting in either the Reikland RVR area of the Reikland Hills scenario.

The ones from keep lords and BO sergeants are similar but you need to kill the 25 in the immediate area of that BO/Keep - it's a fairly small area but large enough for if you are constantly defending it, it's about the same size as the one needed for the quest completion on the scouting quests. (Which aren't repeatable but if you've not done you should also pick up, easy money. Smile )
