Now with proper XFire support for DaoC ! Do /xfire in game and relog to make it work properly! (thanks Knarch)

It's basically a friends list that tells you what game your mates are playing and is awesomely simple to setup and register. It also lets you spam your mates whilst they are in game.

For example. me and Trey been talking merrily this last week or so whilst I've not been able to get onto CoH so was playing Rome and we been chatting about all sorts Wink

It can even tell you what zone they're in if they're in an MMO, or what server.

You can chat to them without alt+tabbing to desktop - just pressing scrolllock+x or define another key combination and it opens a little chat box in the game you're playing so you can reply with ease Wink

You can talk over it using microphone if you want Smile

When you add someone to the contact, add their username or email from the list here by clicking the + symbol - Ohhh, another thing it does is tell you how addicted to a game you are by recording how much time you play for Mdr

I've started up a persistent chat room for us. You prob need an invite but it'll appear in your "Servers" section thereafter. You may want to turn off the sounds for PMs etc if you have volume loud as it can be, well, loud! Smile Just go to Tools > Options > Sounds in Xfire and turn the ones you want off!
